Pork Neck Chops in the Oven

In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients except the chops and potatoes. Stir well and add the chops to the mixture. Cover with plastic wrap and leave in the fridge for 2 hours to marinate.

Ingredients (4 servings):

  • 4 pork neck chops
  • 5 medium potatoes
  • 1 can of beer
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Salt & pepper

Instructions (about 2 hours):

In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients except the chops and potatoes.
Stir well and add the chops to the mixture.
Cover with plastic wrap and leave in the fridge for 2 hours to marinate.
Place the potatoes in a small baking tray and put the chops on top.
Add 1 cup of water to the bowl and slowly pour the mixture over the chops.
Cover the tray with parchment paper and aluminum foil.
Bake for 90 minutes at 180°C, then uncover the tray.
Let the chops brown for 5 more minutes on each side.
Serve the meat with the juices from the tray poured over the chops and potatoes.
